Middle Eastern Chicken
Ingredients
Olive OilSaltMSGBoneless Chicken BreastPaprikaTurmericGarlic PowderOnion PowderOregano (powdered, optional)Thyme (powdered, optional)CardamomAllspiceLemon Juice (fresh preferred)
Directions
- In a large bowl add your chicken (cut up or whole)
- Add
SaltandMSG(don’t use too much MSG as you could make it too salty) then stir it up - Add a generous drizzle of
Olive Oilon the chicken and mix to spread it around
For the following seasonings I like to pair these up together because I found them similar
- Add
PaprikaandTumericenough to cover most of the chicken - Add
Garlic PowderandOnion Powdera little more than you did onstep 4 - Add
ThymeandOregano, the amount is your preference - Add
AllspiceandCardamom, these are sweeter flavors so be wary of how much you add (all preference) - Last step sprinkle that
Lemon Juice - Once done you can cover the bowl or put the chicken in a ziploc bag to marinate it at least a day or a couple hours
Note: There is no portion size, measure with your heart. This recipe only covers the seasoning and marinate steps. You can cook however you like.
